PLR or Private Label Rights are an easy way to add content to your website or blog or to even submit it to an article submission website like eZine Articles and provide a link back to your site from the article.

Writing articles can really be time consuming. You have to do all the research, make sure that it is truthful, has good grammar otherwise you could turn away customers, and sometimes people will get “writer’s block” which is where your mind goes blank and you can not think of anything to write down.

You could outsource your article writing at places like Elance, but coming from experience, sometimes the quality isn’t that great or the grammar is horrible. What you can do is to search the forums like the warrior forums for PLR packages. Many times you will find them very cheap. Also in these forums and with a little bit of search involved, you can find membership sites to PLR groups.

Membership sites to PLR groups are great because they are often limited in how many members are actually allowed to signup. This keeps the articles fresh and not overused as much. Also a lot of membership sites periodically update with new articles or eBooks and when they do, often times they will send out a newsletter telling you so. If you are really quick you can snag these new articles up and maybe change a few things here and there and then post it to the internet and have new content before other people can get to it.

But in most cases you will want to rewrite everything. Change the title, change the pictures, change everything word for word. You want to do this because Google really does not like to have duplicate information out there, so if you put it in your blog, then it could end up hurting your ranking. If the article is a duplicate and not 100% original then you will also have a very hard time submitting it to article submission sites. Rule of thumb is to take PLR and get the idea that is conveyed in the message. Think about it, and then rewrites the sentences to fit your style of conversation. Add some content to it, add some humor, but make it worthwhile to read.
